Starting DIVA

Moving to the project folder

• Open MATLAB
• In the Current Directory window on the MATLAB command window, use the directory select box , navigate and select the project folder.
• The example below shows the selection of a project folder prion, (mad cow disease).

Starting DIVA

• Once you've set the current folder in MATLAB to the project folder, type tfwork on the MATLAB command line.
• The main DIVA window will appear, and a dialog box asking Clear the workspace and create a new project. Select Yes to close the dialog box.

Setting the database link.

• On the TFGUI window, select Project > Set Database Link. A dialog box appears that lists the ODBC sources on your computer.
• Select the itemin the list that corresponds to the ODBC link to your project and select OK to close the dialog box.
• The example below selects prion, the link to the mad cow disease database.
